Can my PC run Drive UP: Together smoothly?
Our read (not an official benchmark):
- Compare your CPU and GPU to the recommended row first. The game is a 3D physics driving climber with up to eight online players; low-end mobile GPUs may run, but stutter on dense sections is plausible when many cars and effects are on screen.
- 16 GB RAM on the recommended line suggests the developers expect headroom beyond the 6 GB minimum—if you only meet minimum RAM, close background apps before long co-op sessions.
- Broadband is listed twice because online co-op is part of the product; solo still works, but you need a stable connection for lobbies and invites (co-op strategies covers lobby setup).
We have no official FPS targets or resolution presets from Gamevato—only the hardware table above.
How can I test before I buy?
- Install the free Steam demo (App ID 4749350). It ends at a random height between 450 and 750 m on purpose, but you can still feel physics, controls, and performance on your machine.
- Read our demo vs full game guide for what the demo excludes (full maps, minigames on Neon Junction, full leaderboard scope, and more).
- If the demo feels choppy, try lowering in-game graphics options if your client exposes them—we have not verified a public list of every graphics toggle; use what you see in Settings after launch.
What else should I plan for?
- Steam Cloud is listed as a store category—saves may sync across PCs when enabled in Steam; see FAQ — cloud saves for how we describe it.
- Partial controller support is on the store; keyboard is also supported per the official site FAQ. Binding details are not published in first-party docs—use in-game Settings > Controls (including Camera Collision from v0.1.2).
- Early Access updates add maps and systems (v0.1.2 patch notes); storage needs could grow later—10 GB is the only official figure today.
For gameplay basics after install, start with the beginner guide.
Last checked against patch v0.1.2 on November 4, 2026. This is an unofficial fan wiki.
