Drive UP: Together Neon Junction — 1000 m City Map
Neon Junction map guide for Drive UP: Together: the five official sections from the parking garage to the 1000 m finish, plus where Bomb Tag and Sky Sumo run.
What is Neon Junction?
Neon Junction is the new map in update v0.1.2 (November 2, 2026). According to the official patch notes, it is “A night city full of neon lights and 80s synthwave style.” You “climb from the parking garage all the way to the finish at 1000 meters.”
The same post lists five sections in climb order (detailed below) and notes that “The lights on gondolas, elevators, swinging signs and trains now really light up their surroundings.”
This page is an unofficial fan wiki. We do not use press-kit gameplay screenshots here—those assets predate the map. Section heights between start and 1000 m are not published.

Full patch context: v0.1.2 update hub. Minigame rules: Bomb Tag and Sky Sumo guide. Other maps: mountain and Port Babel.
Parking garage, spiral tower and rooftops
According to the official v0.1.2 list, this opening stretch includes “A parking garage and a spiral tower, the first skyscraper and the rooftops.”
Our read: expect vertical stacking early—spiral tower geometry plus rooftop edges before the city opens up. Official text does not give meter checkpoints for this block.
Bomb Tag is on the parking garage roof per the same patch notes: the bomb passes car to car like hot potato; solo players “Drive over the three lit pads to defuse it.” Rules and safety notes live on our minigames page.
Highway interchange, billboards and metro line
Official wording: “A multi-level highway interchange, giant billboards and a metro line.”
Our read: multi-level interchange implies lane choice and elevation changes; billboards and a metro line are called out as set dressing and obstacles in copy only—no official lane map exists.
Skyscraper under construction
According to the patch list: “A skyscraper under construction: a scaffold road, construction elevators and steel beams that zigzag in the crosswind.”
Our read: crosswind on steel beams suggests lateral pushes—momentum and weight transfer from the core game still apply; we have no official wind speed numbers.
Tower crane spiral and helipad jump
Official text: “A spiral around a tower crane, a windy road along the crane’s arm and a jump to the helipad.”
Sky Sumo runs on the helipad: “the floor is made of tiles. In four waves, tiles flash red and fall.” See minigames for the full rules quote.
Our read: the helipad jump is an explicit gap in official copy—approach speed and alignment matter, but developers did not publish takeoff distances.
Final spiral to the 1000 m beacon tower
The listed finale: “The final section: a spiral up to 1000 meters around a 1 km tall beacon tower.”
This matches the stated finish at 1000 meters and the 1 km tall beacon tower phrasing in v0.1.2 news. Segment heights for earlier spirals are not published.
Practical tips for Neon Junction (our suggestions)
Practical tip (our suggestion, not an official rule):
- Lighting — Dynamic lights on gondolas, elevators, signs, and trains can change readability at night; no official graphics settings guide exists for this map.
- Minigames vs main climb — Bomb Tag and Sky Sumo are optional side activities on named rooftops; they are not required to reach 1000 m.
- Co-op — Up to eight players share lobbies; solid cars still interact on narrow construction beams—see co-op strategies.
