What is Port Babel?

Port Babel is the night-themed harbor course added in update v0.1.1 (October 30, 2026). According to the official v0.1.1 patch notes, you “Climb through giant cranes, stacked containers and floodlit docks, and find out how high your crew can get after dark.”

The Port Babel Night Climb community event post (October 30, 2026) repeats the same harbor framing: giant cranes, stacked containers and floodlit docks, with crews climbing “how high you get at the docks after dark.”

This is an unofficial fan wiki. We do not assign press-kit screenshots to Port Babel—early press art predates the map. For a labeled overview of features named in official patch text, see the diagram below.

For the full v0.1.2 changelog including harbor tweaks, see our v0.1.2 update hub. Compare the launch course in mountain map guide or the 1000 m city route on Neon Junction.

What did v0.1.2 change on Port Babel?

According to the official v0.1.2 patch notes, Port Babel received:

Change Official wording (paraphrase)
Lighting Redone; lights show in reflections and on cars.
Forklifts Drive their own routes around the harbor and slowly push any car in their way aside.
Collisions Crane towers, elevator rails and lamp posts are now solid and can be hit.
Performance Some performance adjustments.

Our read: forklifts add moving obstacles—expect slow shoves rather than instant teleports. Solid crane towers and rails mean you can use or suffer hard collisions like other solid props in the game’s physics.

How does Port Babel fit the rest of Early Access?

Port Babel arrived four days after Steam Early Access launch alongside in-game invites (“No more alt-tabbing to get your crew together,” v0.1.1). Lobbies still support up to eight players; everyone needs their own Steam copy per official launch-week messaging.

Finish height: Not published for Port Babel. Only Neon Junction documents a 1000 meters finish in v0.1.2 news.

Teamplay basics—spacing, pushing, rescues—apply the same as on other maps; see co-op strategies. Engine and turbo changes from v0.1.2 affect every map; see engine and turbo upgrades.

Practical tips for Port Babel (our suggestions)

Practical tip (our suggestion, not an official rule):

  • Night visibility — After v0.1.2 lighting, reflections and car-lit surfaces matter more; we have no official brightness settings guide—adjust your monitor and in-game settings as you prefer.
  • Forklift lanes — Treat forklift routes as moving blockers; official text says they slowly push cars aside, so hugging a forklift path may drift you off line.
  • Solid cranes and posts — You can hit crane towers, elevator rails, and lamp posts; our read: use them for bumps or recovery only if your lobby agrees—solid cars still mean betrayals hurt runs.
